About the project
Innovation in Agriculture with Syngenta
Syngenta was looking to optimize the seed recommendation process for its sales representatives. The Seed Selector Mobile project was developed to ease the representatives' work, providing quick access to accurate data, personalized recommendations, and tools that directly impact sales results and customer relationships.
Challenge
Create an intuitive and powerful solution that consolidates the client portfolio, provides reliable recommendations, and helps sales representatives convert recommendations into seed purchases.
The Goal
Empower sales representatives with a robust tool that: Simplifies the seed recommendation process. Increases sales and the adoption of new products. Improves data collection on producers' fields.
Solution
The Seed Selector Mobile was designed to integrate data from different systems, allow field mapping, create personalized recommendations, and issue vouchers to facilitate sales. Using user-centered methodologies and rapid prototyping, the application stood out for its usability and direct impact on results.
Results
Until December 2024: Adoption: 208 unique users and 82 active sales representatives, with 3,100 recommendations generating 80,869 seed units and covering 275,450 hectares. Financial Impact: €1,160,872 generated with 688 vouchers converted into 13,343.36 bags sold. Efficiency: Reduction of 1,500 invalid recommendations and registration of over 35,000 hectares of new fields.
